Challenge ~ Preparation ~ Trust

Last week, Heritage welcomed back to campus several alumni to address our students, parents and faculty at a special chapel, followed by a time of Q & A at a reception in their honor in Herzog Hall.
Heritage School Alumni included Blake Harpold, class of 2013, who will graduate with a business and computer science degree from ACU this spring. Asher Oosterbaan, class of 2014, who is a junior at Texas A&M pursuing an accounting degree. Abby Sauer, class of 2015, who studying nursing at UTSA. Christina Harpold, class of 2015, who is studying human resources and organizational communications at Vanderbilt. Additional alumni on campus that day included Elliott Grimes and Lindsey Pressler.

Our students, faculty and parents had the privilege of being inspired as well as gleaning important information as they listened to each of the alumni’s stories of their journeys from Heritage to college. Additionally, many of our Seniors were able to talk one on one with the alumni and gain wisdom for the next chapter of their lives.

The Alumni were an encouragement to all, letting us know that the small class size, the challenging course of study and trusting the process at Heritage prepared them well for college and life. We look forward to welcoming more of our alumni back to campus in the weeks and months ahead.
